Nature

We have just gotten our printer up and running, which means we are in business!

Kailey and I spent the day printing some shots that were ordered from Denver and troubleshooting with the printer. I learned a lot about how to operate and maintain it which makes me feel more prepared for starting this business. So to everyone that ordered prints they will be on their way soon!

We also just got back from a weekend in Yosemite. I couldn't have been happier to see mountains again, I've been dreaming of them all summer. You can expect some pictures from Tuolumne soon! Until then I wanted to post a few of our Nature shots from our website.

This is a shot from my Nature class at Brooks. We got to handle a collection of insects, reptiles, and amphibians and pose them however we wanted. The animals were all very cooperative and it was an amazing experience.

This is a sunset that Kailey shot in Denver. While visiting home she was able to spend some quality time with her dad photographing some of her favorite places in the city. Surprisingly, this little dandelion captured the light better than the surrounding buildings during sunset.

I found this picture while fishing through my files. The sky looked so much more interesting when it was mirrored. I also thought it complemented how I feel about that beautiful Colorado sky.
I hope you enjoy

Hello World!

I would like to introduce you to InLight Images. We are recently graduated from the Brooks Institute  with a Bachelors in Professional Photography. We concentrated in Industrial/Scientific Photography (the class where you blow things up and catch it on high speed, as well as many other scientific techniques) which has given us a unique perspective on run of the mill commercial projects.

As your narrator I will start with me, Rachel Deehan, and one of my most recent works:

Next is K Fry, and two of her nature photographs, which she mirrored in response to my hillside photograph:
This is just a little taste of what's to come.
See you soon,
